Friendly, fast and do a great job

I understand why Starr Custom Tinting is rated the best of Charlet County! Not only was I able to get an appointment fast, but Eddie, one of the tinters and owners, answered everything with utmost truth, plain and simple explanations and I just can't say enough about him. I have a background in the tint business (long ago), while it is mostly observational, I still know the basics. So his truth and honest information was a blessing. Also, Megan was very nice and clearly explained the true nature of how ciramic film works and it's benifits to the consumer. Her warm and friendly personality was not what I expected in a usually male dominated industry, and her knowledge of the product along with a willingness to listen sealed the deal for me. This is, to me, a truly family owned and operated business. I would give the Starr family a 1 million star revenue, but I'm limited to just 5 of them so I hope that's enough for most people.I had to ad a new update. I took my new to me car to have it tinted by this amazing group and the amount of care and courtesy I received was first class. I am so fortunate to have been blessed with this family and their talented crew. Great job yet again!

I'm extremely happy that I chose Starr to tint my truck. The quality of the tint is very good, the owners are so friendly and do not try to sell you on anything. I was provided accurate information on what to choose from, and they guarantee their work! Megan (great name!) was smiling and happy to work with me. It is apparent the couple loves their business and the customers. I can not recommend them enough! I have an all black truck with black leather interior, and when I got in my truck, it wasn't even warm. It is a cold weather day, but it's still a black truck in Florida. What a great place to get your windows done. The owners are great people.

Firstly, the couple who own this business are very friendly and engaging. They have a great relationship with their employees. There was banter and laughs in the waiting room. Very comfortable little waiting room with couches,TV, coffee and soda. Their prices were phenomenal. My Jetta was done in 45 minutes. I did the ceramic and back window had a bubble. Very stubborn little defect as I went twice to talk to them about. It dried and left a tiny mark which they replaced at no cost. That window was perfect in two days. Good experience, great prices, enjoyable staff. Definitely recommend!

I called at 3 to get pricing and set an appointment to get my work van windows tinted. They managed to squeeze me in at the end of the day which was great as it's a holiday weekend so the tint will get a full 3 days of baking in the sun before I use it again. The staff was wonderful and professional. The pricing was fair and consistent with what my coworkers are paying in other counties. I'm extremely happy with the service provided here and will be taking my personal vehicle in to get tinted later as well.

Family owned and operated. Megan Starr owner will greet you with a pleasant smile and great advice on tint options. I opted for the high UV, 85% heat reduction tint. It works great, as advertised. Lobby atmosphere is quiet and comfortable with couches and flat screen and refreshments to keep you occupied while your vehicle is being serviced. The real magic is in the back where the installers are working hard putting out quality work with a lifetime warranty on some products. Definitely one of the best experience with a local business

If you need tints in Port Charlotte FL or even in all of Southwest FL there's no other place to get them. They have the best prices and they'll work with you. The customer service from Megan was top notch. The waiting area is very comfortable with plenty of refreshments. The tech Eddie always does a professional grade job. I've gotten several vehicles tinted here with the latest being my daughter's vehicle. Trust me, there's no other tint company better to go to. 👍

Starr tinting is a great place to get your Tints done. They stand by there word and there about quality and very respectful. I will be recommending them to all of my friends and family. Meggan is a sweet heart and Eddy has a lot of knowledge on windows and glass. The ceramic Tint is a great quality and keeps the heat out 70 to 90%.

It was my first time getting my personal vehicle tinted, I was uneducated on percentages and the different kinds of tint available on the market. She and her husband Eddie (loved that this business is family owned by the way), professionally and patiently explained to me the differences and we worked together in a collaborative effort in order to achieve an end result. I only go here for window tints. I’m also really happy that they now offer ceramic coating as well! I will only go here when I plan on getting ceramic coating. I have used their ceramic tint a few times and my family has as well. They always provide exceptional service. Their prices are very reasonable. Their customer service is also top notch. I have just recently had my 2018 Corvette in for all windows tinting including the windshield, when I arrived I noticed the elaborate waiting area with snacks and drinks for anyone who chose to wait for their vehicle, and I was told that they would provide an Uber to bring me home and pick me up when my vehicle was done. WHO DOES THAT? A very pleasant Lady who is also the proprietor with her husband Eddie gave me a price that beat my two written estimates by a substantial margin, when the car was finished I was extremely happy with the quality of the entire job as I have had at least ten other vehicles tinted and I had become used to accepting certain flaws. I highly recommend Starr Tinting and just sent my wife to have her 2025 Toyota to done.

Starr went ABOVE AND BEYOND! A complete transformation. I went from a fishbowl, to a properly protected, heat deflecting, uv protecting, ceramic tint. I could not be happier! In a very competitive market, this is the only place I would go to for tinting. They only use top grade tinting with 98-99 percent protection, non of the 80% hybrid stuff that you could get caught buying. They run on time and get the entire car done in around 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 hours (sides, back and front). Their prices are very competitive (as a matter of fact they beat one bid by $200.00). And it’s all warrantied. Stop shopping around and just go there.

I just bought a new Tesla and knew it was imperative I get tinting done asap. When I called the phone was actually answered (unlike the other 3 I tried)! They worked with me on scheduling to get me in quickly. The day of the appointment I ended up coming early due to a work issue and they got me right in. We brought our Ford F-150 in for re-tinting. Our old tint was wavy and difficult to see through. Starr’s team removed the old tint and applied ceramic tint. It is great! Megan Eddie and the entire staff are extremely talented and professional. I would highly recommend them.

Meghan and her husband are great people, friendly and professional. The tint for my wife’s car came out excellent, we were in & out in no time and they have a comfortable waiting area. They also tint home windows and I will definitely use Starr for all my future tinting needs.

I needed to have my driver and passenger window tint replaced. I was able to make my appointment through text with Megan which was super convenient since I was at work and phone calls aren't always easy. I was able to get on the schedule with a date and time that was best for me. They had me in and out in 30 minutes! Highly recommend.

Starr Custom Tinting has tinted 5 of our vehicles. plain and simple; the guy is top notch and easily the best price around. So long as i have 4 wheels underneath me, Eddie will be the guy tinting it.
